Its core working principle is based on a cyclic process of “expansion-intake-compression-exhaust”:
Intake: The electric motor drives the crank-connecting rod mechanism, causing the piston to reciprocate within the cylinder. When the piston moves to one side, the pressure inside the cylinder is lower than atmospheric pressure, the intake valve opens, and outside air is drawn into the cylinder.
Compression: The piston moves in the opposite direction, the cylinder volume decreases, the air is compressed, and the pressure and temperature increase accordingly. At this time, both the intake and exhaust valves are closed.
Exhaust: When the pressure inside the cylinder is higher than the pressure in the exhaust pipe, the exhaust valve is pushed open, and the high-pressure air is discharged and sent to the air tank or air delivery pipeline.
