25t/h hematite beneficiation case

The raw ore processing capacity of the proposed dressing plant is 25t/h, and the raw ore particle size is -10mm. The operating rate is 80%, the grinding fineness -325 mesh accounts for 80%, and the processing capacity of grinding and sorting operations is 25t/h. The main valuable mineral in the raw ore is hematite with a grade of 37.3%, and the main gangue mineral is quartz feldspar. The design concentrate grade is 63%.

Types of beneficiation process

一、Flotation separation process

Principle:

According to the differences in the chemical properties of the mineral surface (hydrophilic, flowability), the flotation agent is used to selectively attach useful minerals or useless impurities to the bubbles for the purpose of separation. This method is called chemical beneficiation.

Applied materials:

It is mainly used to select metal minerals such as gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, nickel and aluminum. It can also be used for the selection of ferrous and non-metallic (such as graphite, apatite).

二、Gravity Separation process

Principle:

The gravity separation process create a comfortable loose layer and separation condition in virtue of integrating the media fluid and all kinds of mechanical force to obtain different density and diversity size particles process . As the density of gold mineral is much bigger than gangue mineral , for the gold mine which has gold particles should use gravity separation process.

Applied materials:

There are many gravity separation methods, such as shaking table gravity separation, spiral classifier separation and spiral concentrator separation. In gold concentration, the commonly used gravity separation machines are gold shaking table, spiral classifier and spiral concentrator.

三、Magnetic separator process

Principle:

According to the magnetic difference of various ores or materials to beneficiation under the action of magnetic force and other forces.

Applied materials:

It is suitable for wet magnetic separation of magnetite, pyrrhotite, ilmenite and other materials with particle size under 3mm. It can also be used for iron removal of coal, nonmetallic ore, building materials , and other industries.
